Shepshed Library Closure 24th March - 1st April

Shepshed Library will be closed both during staffed and smart hours from Monday 24th March and will re-open on Tuesday 1st April to allow for work to be completed on new front doors.

The works are being funded from S106 contributions and will improve the access arrangements for service users, in particular those using wheelchairs or with prams/buggies. Culture Leicestershire have been working with property on proposals since last year and there is a risk that if we do not go ahead in March they will be delayed until the new minor works framework is in place, for which there is no date at present.

Culture Leicestershire would advise customers of the closure through social media and posters and information in the library.
