Gatekeepers for Glenmore Park

Salary Scale Point (dependent on experience), double time on bank holidays

The Council is looking to appoint a Gate Keepers for Glenmore Park.

The ideal candidate will be reliable and punctual, possess strong attention to detail and record-keeping, maintain a friendly yet assertive presence, ability to communicate via whatsapp or email, and to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

The successful applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage access control with vigilance, communicate confidently with members of the public, and respond effectively to unexpected situations with calm and discretion

Position 1: To lock Glenmore Park gates Monday to Friday.

Position 2: Unlock and lock Glenmore Park gates at weekends.

Gates are to be unlocked at 7am in the mornings and locked in the evening at approximately 8pm; (6pm in the Winter time and 9pm during Summer).

The successful applicants must also be willing to work in a flexible and supportive manner with the Council and to cover holidays/absence for the other gate keeper as and when required.
