Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and patching.

Overnight road closures and temporary speed restrictions are required on A512 Ashby Road/Loughborough Road between St Georges Hill and Lower Moor Lane on the 3rd December 2025 for five nights between 20:00 to 06:00 each night.

The proposed alternative diversion routes will be signed on site.

These works had been scheduled to be completed under the recent closures which commenced on 3rd November 2025 but due to the recent weather conditions the works between St Georges Hill and Lower Moor Road were unable to be completed.

During the closures, alternative routes available to all traffic can be viewed or scan the QR code attached.
